New build

Over the years, we’ve designed, managed and completed a variety of new build projects across the private and public sectors.

We’re well known for creating new school facilities to exacting environmental requirements, and our expertise extends across commercial buildings, retail spaces and more. Recently we designed and built the Braintree Enterprise Centre, a state-of-the-art hub for construction innovation that achieved the BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard.

Willowfield School

The London Borough of Waltham Forest appointed Beardwell on a two-stage design-and-build basis to expand Willowfield School.

Highworth Grammar School – Vink Centre

Highworth Grammar School appointed Beardwell to design and build a new sports facility to the rear of its site.

Herts & Essex School – Sports Centre

Beardwell was appointed to build a new 1,900m² sports centre for use by the Herts & Essex School and the wider community of Bishop’s Stortford.

Kingswode Hoe School

Appointed through our framework contract with Essex County Council following a mini-competition, Beardwell was asked to design and build a new two-storey teaching block at Kingswode Hoe School in Colchester.

St George’s Church of England School

Aletheia Anglican Academies appointed Beardwell to build a new three-storey teaching block within the heart of the school campus, replace a redundant building, and create new hard and soft landscaping in its place.

Braintree Enterprise Centre

Braintree District Council appointed Beardwell to design and build a £2.3m facility for construction innovation.
