Restoring or renovating historic buildings demands skill, sensitivity and respect for tradition. There are also strict rules about what you can – and can’t – do to them.

Beardwell Construction has a distinguished record in delivering heritage projects and we’re lucky to have an architect specialising in this work as part of our in-house team.  Notable projects have included the restoration of the UK Scout Association’s timber-framed Gilwell Farmhouse, a complete refurbishment of QMUL’s Grade II listed Garrod Building in Whitechapel, plus significant work at buildings at the former Naval College which now belong to the University of Greenwich.

When you work with us on any heritage project, you can be assured that the final result will be sensitively executed, carefully delivered and fully compliant with all regulations.

“It has been a pleasure working with you all and great to work with a contractor who really cares about the finished product and working as a team.”
Adrian Stubbs, Lead Designer, Bond Bryan
