We are pleased to announce that we have officially commenced works on site for East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust delivering a new £3m dedicated Breast Care Centre to Ipswich Hospital. Working alongside the consultant team of Castons, CCAS, KLH Architects, Johns Slater and Haward and Sweco, the new clinic will bring all breast care facilities, including imaging and screening, under one roof.
The new centre is a partnership between NHS funding from ESNEFT and a fundraising appeal called The Blossom Appeal by Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals Charity. Further details can be found at https://colchesteripswichcharity.org.uk.
A ground-breaking ceremony was attended by medical and estates staff from the hospital, fundraisers and members of the Beardwell team.
