We were pleased to host a small-scale ‘Topping Out’ event at St. George’s School in Gravesend. This celebrated the latest milestone of the £5.5m major redevelopment project which will transform facilities and enable the school to expand.
The low-key ceremony marked the occasion of the last piece of steel being lifted into place on the three-storey facility. Two students and their teachers joined our site team and recorded the day by writing a message on the beam.
Our Contracts Manager, Brigita Davidonyte said” We are very pleased to have reached this stage on time and, given the current restrictions, are delighted to have been able to recognise this by involving the School in this way.”
Executive Headteacher, Simon Carey, said “We have worked tirelessly to bring together funding from the ESFA and KCC to deliver this significant and impressive project. We are delighted to celebrate such an important milestone in this much-needed redevelopment of facilities at Saint George’s Church of England School for the benefit of the Gravesham community.”
